What we build
Relational infrastructure around the program you already run.
A space that belongs to your group. Prompts aligned to your content. Group spaces and chat rooms for members. Designed around five dimensions of belonging, and informed by research with Victoria University.

Everything you might want to know
Answers for the people who run programs, and for the people who take part in them.
What is CoNectar?
CoNectar is a private space that runs alongside the program you already deliver. Each week, members get one question connected to what your program is exploring, and they respond in their own time.
The weekly question is how your group gets to know each other. Everyone's answers come together in the Community section, where members read and listen to each other's reflections. From there, when someone's answer resonates, members can connect privately and keep talking by voice or text. A private chat only opens when both people say yes.
Your sessions bring people together. CoNectar keeps them together in between.
Does it replace our sessions or program?
No. CoNectar is built around your program, not instead of it. Each weekly question picks up where your sessions left off and carries the conversation forward, using your program as the starting point and your members as each other's resource.
Who runs the community, us or CoNectar?
You do, fully. The community belongs to your organization and your group. You write the weekly prompts, and you can adapt them as you go, based on how your group is responding and where they are in the program.
CoNectar provides the platform behind it: the private space, the tools to run it, and the measurement that shows how belonging is growing.
What does our team need to do?
Your coordinator writes one short prompt a week, drawing on what your sessions are covering, and stays in touch with the group the same way they would in sessions. That's the core of it. We set up your group's space, support you through setup, and handle the measurement.
What kinds of programs is it for?
Any program where a group meets over time: carer programs, chronic pain and health programs, parent groups, peer support, mental health recovery, veterans' communities, social prescribing and more. If your participants connect in the room and drift apart between sessions, CoNectar is built for that gap.
What does CoNectar measure?
Two things together: what members say and what members do. The Belonging Index captures how safe, understood, supported, connected and at home people feel. Alongside it, anonymous participation patterns show connection forming between sessions. Together they give a fuller, harder-to-fake picture than a single end-of-program survey.
Will members be identified in reports?
No. Programs see participation and themes across the group, never who said what. Research uses de-identified data only, and no one is ever individually identified in a report.
What does it cost?
It's free for members. We're offering a small number of free pilot places for community programs in 2026, with setup and support included. Apply for a pilot place.
